CHaperone policy

Community events

Girl Scouts in our Community can attend Community Events with or without a troop!

Chaperone policy: Each troop or, if a Girl Scout is attending an event alone, must have at least one chaperone present at each event for the full duration.  The adult(s) do not need to be the troop leaders but must know the child(ren) that they are responsible for and have copy of each child's health history form with them.  We usually have enough registered volunteers present to allow a troop (or individual Girl Scout) to attend without a second adult, but we need at least one person on-site who knows each child and can take responsibility of them during an emergency.
